Two Rutgers Football Game Start Times Released
The Rutgers Scarlet Knights will take on the Kansas Jayhawks at 12 p.m. on Sept. 26 for their annual homecoming matchup the school announced Thursday. Although an early start for a breakfast tailgate, it should be warmer than the cool and rainy Nov. 1 homecoming game last year in which the Wisconsin Badgers drubbed the Knights 37-0.
The Rutgers-Kansas game at High Point Solutions Stadium will be the first meeting between the schools.
Previously announced, kickoff times for home games against Michigan State (Oct. 10) and Ohio State (Oct. 24) are both set for a prime time 8 p.m. start. Three of the Scarlet Knights’ seven home game kickoff times have been released.
Also released on Thursday, Rutgers will go on the road and face Indiana for their homecoming game on Oct. 17 at 3:30 p.m. Last year, the Knights became bowl eligible after defeating the Hoosiers 45-23 in their inaugural meeting.
Two other road game start times were known earlier as the Knights will travel to Penn State on Sept. 19 for an 8. p.m. start on Big Ten Network. Rutgers will meet up with Army at Michie Stadium at noon on Nov. 21.
