PFL’s championship final to reportedly take place at MSG

The tournament filled with epic fighters will end where it all began

The newest craze in combat sports is a tournament-style format. Bellator is taking advantage of it, just like the UFC did years back. When the Professional Fighters League launched, its goal was to change the game. In only a few short events, it has more than succeeded. Each event brings something different to the table, with various fighters looking to move on up in the rankings. The finals will feature the best fighters from the tournament, but where will it take place? It appears PFL will end where it began.

According to Newsday, PFL will hold the finals at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden on December 31. PFL 11 will feature six title fights, with the winners of each receiving $1 million. The first event was held at The Garden on June 7, and has traveled all over the United States, from Chicago to Washington D.C., where the company is headquartered in.

The announcement was made during PFL 4’s open workouts in Garden City’s Longo and Weidman MMA. PFL 4 takes place today (July 19) inside the Nassau Coliseum.

Who will make it to the finals and win the prize money and titles? Will Long Island’s undefeated Andre Harrison (18-0) continue to dominate through to the finals? What about Brazil’s Vinicius de Magalhaes (15-9 (1))? You will have to stay tuned to watch all the drama unfold. Fans can view the event via Facebook Watch and NBCSN.
