Mike Kimbel, Lindsey VanZandt added at Bellator 215
Two young fighters have been added to Bellator’s return to the Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville, CT on February 15th. Mike Kimbel will face off against Jonathan Douma in bantamweight action while atomweight Lindsey VanZandt goes one-on-one against Marisa Messer-Belenchia.
Kimbel (2-0) is coming off of a wild night at Bellator 207. “The Savage” knocked out Alex Potts in six seconds, the fastest knockout in Bellator history. That was eight months after his debut and he was on the pre-show. This time, he is on the main card of the show in just his third pro fight.
One of the most impressive prospects in Bellator today, Connecticut’s Kimbel will look to further showcase his skills in front of family and friends.
VanZandt (3-1) has won all of her fights via knockout. Known for fighting in Invicta, the New York native has been looking all over to showcase her skills to the world. Messer-Belenchia (2-0) has won one fight via submission and one via unanimous decision.
Tickets for Bellator 215 are on sale now. You can buy them at Ticketmaster.com or the Mohegan Sun box office.
