Joshua v. Ruiz To Feature A Loaded Fight Week Schedule

We are less than a week away until Anthony Joshua makes his anticipated United States debut. Set to take over Madison Square Garden on June 1st, Joshua’s (22-0) preparation schedule has been busy. Now, fans can be in on the action.

Before he faces off against Andy Ruiz Jr., Joshua will head from Florida to New York for a week of huge events:

-There will be a welcome party for him, Ruiz (32-1) and other fighters participating on the June 1st card on Monday, June 27. That includes Katie Taylor and Chris Algieri. This will be a private event that will take place somewhere in New York City. It is expected to start around 5 p.m. ET.

– On Tuesday (May 28th), there will be a public workout at Brookfield Place in the Financial District at 11 a.m. ET. This will be open to fans and media alike.

– There will be an undercard press conference on Wednesday, taking place in an undisclosed location at 10:30 a.m. ET. It is expected the aforementioned fighters not in the main event will be there. Following that will be the main event press conference on Thursday at 1 p.m. ET. Both are also in a location to be announced later.

– Weigh-ins will be happening on Friday at 3 p.m. ET inside Madison Square Garden. The main event fighters are expected to show up and be ready around 4 p.m., so prepare accordingly.

All events will be streamed live on DAZN, Sky Sports News, SkySports.com and the social accounts of Sky Sports and Matchroom Boxing.
