After making an impressive Bellator debut, Vinicius “The Brazilian Bad Boy” de Jesus is back. De Jesus is set to return to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Montville, Connecticut on April 21st at Bellator 178.
De Jesus (5-1 MMA, 1-0 BMMA) made the announcement on his Facebook page. His opponent as yet to be announced by the promotion.
In his Bellator debut at Bellator 170: McGreary vs. Davis in November, the “Brazilian Bad Boy” defeated his opponent James Baron via second round rear naked choke (1:55).
Bellator 178 features the featherweight champion Daniel Straus against Patricio “Pitbull” Freire in a 5-round championship main event. This is the fourth time they will face off in the Bellator cage.
Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster.com and the Mohegan Sun Arena box office. Tickets range from $30-$500. Fans of Vini can use the offer code “DEJESUS” at point of purchase.
