Double G Sports polled some of the best Rutgers football writers on the internet to get their opinions on which players need to have big spring performances this year. In total, 31 players were mentioned by the six writers polled. To me, that says there are a lot of question marks heading into spring camp.
With 2011 just about here, the Double G Sports Expert Panel has taken a look back at the past year. 2010 was not an exceptional year for most of the area teams. It did however bring us some very nice individual performances. Lets take a look at what the expert panel had to say about the year 2010.
If Rutgers has a chance to win this game and hold on to their slim bowl hopes, Tom Savage and/or Chas Dodd really need to step up and play a big game.
There is great potential for this Rutgers team to surprise a lot of people. This years Rutgers team is very young, but very talented. The offense has a lot of guys with tremendous speed and athletic ability. The potential for this years Rutgers offense is incredible.
The Rutgers football team roster was pretty solid at the wide receiver position when training camp started. Now it's an entirely different story. The question can be asked, will Rutgers have enough wide outs for the season opener on September 2nd.
