On April 2, 2017 it was announced through the Staten Island Yankees official Instagram account in honor of World Autism Awareness Day that fans will now be able to purchase tickets to watch the game from their special “Autism suites” on select 2017 games at Richmond County Bank at St. George.
It was stated on the post that they are committed to ensure that fans of all circumstances are able to enjoy the games.
Tickets for the suite will be sell at $25 dollars per person and it will includes the following accommodations: Access to the suite as well as an assigned seat on the suite balcony. They will make sure that there will not be any loud noises within the room. The suite will have air conditioning, suite service will be provide as well as easy access to restrooms and elevators, the fans will also have the ability to turn the lights out in the room.
Fans can expect a small amount of people in each suite because the room will be limited to 12 people per suite.
