A Look at the Sky Blue FC 2018 Schedule and Predictions

This year Sky Blue FC will play 24 games during the regular 2018 National Women’s Soccer League season.

Although, the 2018 season started this past weekend, SBFC had the weekend off and will start their season this upcoming weekend.

Local fans will be able to catch half of the 24 games at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, New Jersey. We will take a look at the SBFC team schedule and I will leave you my result predictions for each of the games this upcoming season.

During the 2017 NWSL season, SBFC finished 6th of 10 teams, with 33 points. My predictions leaves them with 35 points this year, which places them in around 5th place of the standings for the 2018 season.

Key Players to Watch For

We will be keeping an eye on the midfield duo, Carli Lloyd and Raquel Rodriguez. Rodriguez scored four goals during the 2017 season, and she can easily double that number this year.

In the offense, Shea Groom and McKenzie Meehan will have the potential to become very dangerous.

In general, the SBFC team has a young roster that offers as many opportunities to the rookies as it does to the veterans on the team. It will be a season full of surprises.

Sky Blue FC wil start their season on the road when they visit NC Courage on Saturday, March 31 at 3:00pm ET. The game will be streamed on go90.
