With regionals a week away, the team is doing everything they can in order to prepare to face some of their toughest competition all year.
“Preparing for regionals is all about resting our bodies and focusing on the minor details. That’s the only thing setting us apart from the top teams in the country,” said junior Emma Hoffman.
The team is eager to go down to Georgia and perform at the highest level in order to prove to everyone that all of the hard work they have been putting in all season is paying off.
Competing against a large number of SEC teams will be a challenge. This pressure is only added to by the crowd that is said to show up at the competition.
“GA always has a huge crowd,” said Hoffman. “It’s going be a great experience to compete in a SEC school environment with all the fans.”
The team will head down to Georgia in the coming week, the top two scoring teams from the region will then move on to the NCAA Nationals in Birmingham, Ala, April 18-20.
