Rutgers Men’s Lacrosse Plans Saturday White-Out For “Senior Knight”

The Rutgers men’s lacrosse team will host Villanova for ‘Senior Knight’ on April 12.  The game is a white out and the first 1000 fans in attendance will receive a free white out t-shirt.  The game against the Wildcats will begin at 7 p.m.

One senior honoree, Anthony Terranova recently was named Big East Weekly Honor Roll for the first time in his career.  Terranova earned Big East Weekly Honor Roll recognition this week, following his outstanding performances against Big East rival, St. John’s and No. 17, Princeton.

The Senior Knight ceremony will also honor the remaining 13 senior members of the team:  Nick Contino, Nick DePaolera, Steve DiGiovanni, Matt Klimchak, Scott Klimchak, Steven Lusby, Jack Matthews, Peter Noto, Andrew Parrilla, Kyle Robinson, Benjamin Schwing, Ryan Scott, and Joe Stottler.

With the men 2-2 in Big East play, and an overall record of 6-5, Villanova proves to be an important game and a necessary win at home that will aid Big East tournament hopes.

A win would for the final home game of the season will honor the senior class, along with past alumni of the program who have been invited to the game.

The men then travel to Durham, N.C. to play one last out of conference against the Duke Blue Devils on Saturday April 19.

Their final game in Big East play is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 against Georgetown.  The Scarlet Knights will travel to Washington D.C. to face the Hoya.

The men’s lacrosse Big East tournament will begin on May 1, held at Villanova.

As the regular season comes to a close, the Scarlet Knights along with the other men’s lacrosse teams, will prepare for their second season in the form of tournament play.

The game will be played at High Point Solutions Stadium and will also be online via Gametracker.
