Devils Hockey: Schedule Released as Draft Nears

Some important news about the Devils has surfaced this week. The preseason schedule, the Devils opening night for the 2014-15 season, and their draft pick numbers in the upcoming NHL draft, June 27-28 in Philadelphia.

Pre season begins in exactly three months from today! The Devils will skate with the Eastern Conference Champion New York Rangers at Madison Square Garden on Monday September 22nd at 7 PM EST to open the pre season. They will then face the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center, then the New York Islanders at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. The Devils will play their first pre season game at the Prudential Center against the Flyers on September 28th and then will finish with two home games against the Islanders.

Then on October 18th at 7 PM EST we will open the curtain on a new exciting season of New Jersey Devils hockey when they play the San Jose Sharks at the Prudential Center.  Information on tickets and ticket plans for the pre season and regular season is now available on the New Jersey Devils website as well.

The NHL Draft is a mere five days away from getting underway and over the course of the two days the Devils will have six picks. Numbers 30, 41, 71, 131, 152, 161 in rounds one, two, three, five, and two in the sixth.

From the press release on Devils.NHL.com “The first round will be conducted on Friday, June 27 and broadcast live by NBCSN in the United States and TSN and RDS in Canada, beginning at 7 p.m., ET. Rounds 2-7 will be held on Saturday, June 28, beginning at 10 a.m., ET, with NHL Network providing live coverage to viewers throughout North America.”
