From being doubted on being able to fulfill the quarterback position this season, to throwing seven touchdowns in one game, Peyton Manning is still impressing. Manning threw seven touchdowns in a game, not to mention he is 37 years old. As many say, he supposed to be heading down the road for retirement and that all of his success should to come to an end, but he is still continuing to play in the NFL this season.
When Manning threw his sixth touchdown on Thursday, it was the third time in his career that he had done that, netting an all new record. His seventh touchdown came quickly to Demaryius Thomas, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos and he took it down the field for 78 yards. Now, this game was not against a team who was not talented; this was against the defending Super Bowl champions.

Manning completed 27-of-42 passes for 462 yards and also became part of history at the end of this game. He is the sixth player in NFL history to throw seven touchdowns in a game. The Broncos came out on top, 49-27, and are already considered the best team in the NFL. This is a game that people will remember many years from now: the game that Peyton Manning, at 37 years old, threw 7 touchdowns in the NFL season opener.
Manning is truly more than just a quarterback; he is a coach on and off the field. Even under pressure, he can call a play and make sure all of the players know what is going on. He is an outstanding athlete and he is for sure going down in the history books.
