A Look at the 2013 Rutgers Football Schedule

Rutgers 2013 home opener at High Point Solutions Stadium will be September 7.

The Rutgers football schedule for the upcoming season has been released.

Rutgers clinched a share of the Big East title in 2012 under first-year head coach Kyle Flood, finishing with an overall record of 9-4, and a 5-2 record in the conference.

The Scarlet Knights’ season begins on Thursday, August 29th at Fresno State. Rutgers will face Norfolk State in their home opener on Saturday, September 7th, the first in a three game home stand.

The Scarlet Knights host Arkansas on Saturday, September 21st, marking the first ever visit by an SEC team to High Point Solutions Stadium.

The Scarlet Knights’ schedule features two nationally televised Thursday night games broadcasted on ESPN, on October 10th at Louisville, and on November 21st at UCF, in Orlando, Florida.

The Scarlet Knights’ season concludes at home on Saturday, December 7th against USF in a third nationally televised event. The game will be broadcasted on ABC, ESPN, or ESPN2.

This will be the Scarlet Knights’ final season in the Big East; the university will join the Big Ten in 2014.
