The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have announced the men’s soccer recruiting class of 2013.
Defenders Zachary Bialik (Woodbridge, NJ), Jared Goldstern (Livingston, N.J.), and Spencer Hambleton (Scotch Plains, N.J.), midfielders Erik Sa (Watchung, N.J.) and Jack Young (Saddle River, N.J.), and goalkeepers David Greczek (Fairfield, N.J.) and Mitchell Walier (Holmdel, N.J.) signed national letters of intent, and have committed to Rutgers.
Coach Dan Donigan is optimistic that this recruiting class will help the Scarlet Knights improve from their 2012 season, wherein the team finished 7-7-1, and 3-4-1 in the Big East. Donigan believes the Scarlet Knights have a strong core of talented players returning in the fall, and expects the recruits to enhance what’s already in place.
The 2013 recruitment class, however, might not be completed yet, as the Scarlet Knights may look to bring in a couple more student athletes at a later time.
