Welcome to the weekly column of Double G Sports Girl, Gina Marie. Each week, Gina, now known as the Bikini Blogger, will take your reader questions. Something on your mind about life, love, sports, or anything at all? Send your questions to us by clicking here to fill out the form.
Check back every Friday for Gina’s responses to your questions!
1. How many championships will Lebron James retire with? Submitted by: Andrew from San Clemente, CaliforniaIf I had my way…it would be none. Unfortunately I won’t be getting my way this time, (don’t get used to it…it’s rare), since he’s got one to comfortably fit on his hand now. Lebron’s undoubtedly a super athlete love him or hate him, and with the addition of Ray Allen to Miami I would say they’re certainly a team to beat…however so is Chicago, Brooklyn, New York, LA and Oklahoma. So, my guess is at 27 and with at least another decade to play he has the potential to win at least two or three more, withstanding Miami stays healthy and intact. And who knows where or who he’ll play with after that. Do I think this will be his only ring..NOPE, but do I think he’ll out do the Black Mamba..NOPE.
2. What do you think of Nick Swisher’s actics? Just having fun or a little too much? Submitted by: Joey in Bronx, New YorkWhy is it that football players have touchdown dances and basketball players have chest bumps with a game winning shot and Nick Swisher leaks a little personality when the game gets good and he’s suddenly showing disrepect and bad sportsmanship? Leave the man alone…the NY Metro area is known for being obnoxious, MLB just needs to embrace it! (us residents do…).
3. Is it ok to take a girl to a sporting event for a first date? Submitted by: Nick in Brick, New JerseyYES! YES! YES! More than okay…great idea, especially a first date because it’s a low pressure environment! Even if she isn’t into sports, there’s food and beer and tons of people watching to be done…and who knows maybe you can sway her into obsessing over your team as much as you do! Just take it easy on expecting her to be fully involved, especially if it’s her first game.
4. Are the Mets for real? Will they stay in the playoff race all year? Submitted by: Samantha in Edison, New JerseyLet’s face it, the NL is so mediocre, as long as the Mets continue to play halfway decent they can maintain a good standing.
5. Bryce Harper or Mike Trout? Submitted by: Mike in New York, New York…who looks better in baseball pants or …? You probably mean athletic ability. In which case, it’s a close call but I think Trout has the edge. Trout’s the man who nearly flew over a fence to make a catch that stole a home run in Baltimore, and is batting .341 with 12 home runs, 40 RBI’s, and 26 steals. Harper is batting .282 with only 8 home runs, 25 RBI’s, and 10 steals. Not that Harper isn’t an impressive young player by any means but when push comes to shove, Trout seems to have a better all around package for future development. Guess we’ll just have to see though.

So let me get this straight…not only is Gina insanely hot, but she basically said everything I would have said to those questions!! You are so right about Swisher, I don’t get why people hate on baseball players when they show emotion, makes no sense!!
I want me more Gina

As a fellow double g sports staff member, i have to agree. Not only is Gina gorgeous, but her insight into sports is tremendous. I couldnt agree more than I do in regards to the Trout/Harper debate. Im looking foward to reading these columns every week cause I loved this debut. Keep up the great work, Bikini Blogger!
