Could Mets Use Bryan LaHair in Left Field?

Despite being left handed, if Chicago is willing to trade Bryan LaHair, should the Mets make a deal?
With Kevin Youkilis having been traded from the Red Sox to the White Sox, it may be the start of bigger moves being made across Major League Baseball. The New York Mets need some pop to add to their lineup and though Bryan LaHair is a lefty, with Anthony Rizzo being called up by the Cubs, he may be expendable, he’s still pre-arb.
LaHair has 13 HRs and 28 RBIs. The RBI total is low for someone with that many HRs but the Cubs have struggled to score runs this season. Being a lefty is not a good thing for the Mets at the moment as they would prefer to add a right handed power bat. However, they need someone to add a little pop to the lineup and they aren’t going to spend money so why not take a chance on the guy. Having LaHair and Duda may not be a perfect outfield but it’s not like Scott Hairston is a defensive god.
Maybe the Mets should look to leave Wrigley with LaHair on the plane.
