Red Bulls Trade Juan Agudelo to Chivas USA

The Red Bulls have traded Juan Agudelo.

After winning their fourth straight game and vaulting into first place in the East, the Red Bulls have made a puzzling move. With only one healthy striker available, Juan Agudelo has been sent to Chivas USA for Defender Heath Pearce.

A trade that allows Heath Pearce to come to the Red Bulls seems somewhat suspect, with only Kenny Cooper to play true forward. One has to think more moves are coming after this one. The Red Bulls now have three left backs.

It is reported that if Juan Agudelo is sold in a transfer move, New York would get a cut of the money.
