The big question that many are asking: Can the Devils still win the Atlantic Division? Absolutely, the sky is the limit…Or in this case the ice is. If the Devil’s are going to win the Division they have a few things to improve and they need to get working fast to catch up to those Rangers.
First off, they are called the Devil’s for a reason so they need to own up to their name and give their opponents a full throttling 60 minutes of hell on the ice. They have to play longer and play harder. That means blocking shots, taking more shots, and scoring on power plays.
If these guys were synchronized swimmers they would be way out of tune. The Devils lines need to play more together. Not only do they have great talents and an experienced veteran, they have a lot of potential too, so they need to come together and fuse those assets.
A more attentive defensive line would help shutout their opponents’ shots and move the puck up to the offensive line who should then take more chances on shots.
Once they get the rhythm of playing harder and playing more together they’ll have the right tune. The New Jersey Devils definitely have what it takes to win their division.
