At the end of 2010, Double G Sports began setting up a small competition to find Miss Double G Sports. The contest began with 10 promotional models which our readers were able to vote for their favorite. The winner would be named Miss Double G Sports 2011 and here she is…

Miss Double G Sports 2011 – Andrea!!

Andrea is a very energetic, outgoing, friendly, and talented dancer and up and coming model. She will lead our first ever team of Double G Sports Girls as they help to promote the website and get the Double G Sports name out to the public.

We asked Andrea a few fun questions to help you get to know the first ever Miss Double G Sports. You can also see Andrea’s profile here.

Modeling

How did you get started in modeling?

Double G Sports is my first modeling experience.

So far, what has been your favorite modeling shoot or experience and why?

The Double G Girls photo shoot at Patriots stadium is my favorite, because I really loved the setting and all the girls.

What kinds of modeling are you most interested in and why?

I’m interested in commercial and print modeling, because it allows for variety.

Being in shape is major in the entertaining business. Do you work out? If so, how often and how rigorous is your routine?

I’ve been dancing for 16 years and I continue to dance in college. I also love to run and do yoga. I work out every day, but I like to mix it up!

What are your goals as a model? How do you see yourself progressing in this field?

My goals as a model are to be featured in advertisements, product promotions and I’d love to break into acting as well.

Tell us your feelings on your first Double G Sports Girl photo shoot?

The first shoot was really exciting, because it was the contest photo shoot so I was extremely nervous about the competition.

Do you have any favorite sports teams or players? Who?

My favorite international soccer player is Christiano Ronaldo.

As a Double G Sports Girl, what can you bring to the website? How can you help promote and get the name out?

I can help promote the website by advertising events, leading the Double G Sports Girls Team and continuing to build the team within the next year.

What can our readers expect from you as a Double G Sports Girl?

They can expect basic involvement, plenty of Facebook posts and building the Double G Team.

If Double G Sports had you run an event for them, what would you plan?

I would plan a Powder-Puff football game for charity.

Fun/Random

If you could play any sport professionally, what would it be? For what team? What position would you play?

I would love to be an Olympic Gymnast on the United States Team.

What are your hobbies?

I love to dance, it’s my passion.

Do you have any unusual talents?

I can burp unusually loud; I should definitely enter a belching competition.

What is the best date you’ve ever been on?

My boyfriend took me on a date to an Italian restaurant in Epcot in Disney World, then we spent the night together tackling roller coasters.

What do you look for in a guy?

I look for honesty and a genuine smile.

What dating advice would you give Double G Sports readers?

There are plenty of fish in the sea so never give up! Keep on fishin!

Who is your biggest athlete crush? Celebrity?

Athlete – Christiano Ronaldo, Celebrity – Taylor Lautner

Who is your girl crush?

Rachel Ray

What is your dream job?

I would love to be a Rockette, but I would need to grow another inch to even meet the requirements.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?

Bobby Flay, Paula Dean, and Rachel Ray

If you found $20 in your pocket, what would you spend it on?

Unfortunately, gas.

What is your biggest fear?

I am so afraid of being forced into Sex Trafficking. Sex Trafficking is actually a huge problem in our world today and happens more often then you know.

What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever done?

I jumped off of a bridge with fellow Double G Sports Girl, Jackie, at a marina in Maryland.

Is there anything you think people would be surprised to know about you?

I’m actually very friendly and nice, but people often expect me to be bitchy or mean because of the way that I look.

What makes a woman sexy?

Confidence makes women extremely sexy. A confident woman just has a certain look and stance about her that makes her more desirable.

What part of your body are you most proud of?

I am most proud of my legs.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?

I love eating Nutella with wheat thins…I will eat an entire container of Nutella if you let me.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?

Not to worry about the little things. If it’s not going to matter in a week then don’t worry about it.

Where is one place you’ve always wanted to travel?

I’d love to visit my family in Italy.

What is one thing you can’t live without?

My family.

If you could be on a reality TV show, which one would it be?

Jersey Shore so I can let the nation know that not all Italians from Jersey behave like illiterate children.

Biggest pet peeve?

When people’s shirt tags stick out; If I see someone’s tag sticking out, I’m compelled to tuck it in even if they’re a stranger!

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?

I see myself continuing my education and continuing to work on my modeling career.

What should every guy in the world know about you?

I understand and appreciate chivalry, but I am perfectly capable of opening a door by myself. I’m a modern day girl.

How do you blow off steam?

I usually go for a run.

Are you a big partier?

Nope, I’m more of a homebody.
